Audio Interview With Naomi Grossman
Naomi Grossman appeared in the second season of American Horror Story as Pepper, a micro-cephalic character. Before American Horror Story, Naomi had built a huge following on You Tube and produced her very own one woman comedy show. She was a guest at the recent Blood At The Beach Convention and I jumped at the chance to interview her. We talked about her comedy, American Horror Story and her plans for the future. Audio Interview With Steve Dash Posted
There have been several actors who have appeared in the Friday The 13th films as Jason Voorhees but the very first Jason was Steve Dash. He starred in Friday The 13th Part 2. (If you remember Jason’s mom was the killer in the first installment.) Steve was a guest at this years Full Moon Tattoo And Horror Convention in Nashville Tennessee. He was nice enough to take some time out of his Sunday morning to talk with me for Monsters From The Basement. Who can forget the HBO series “Tales From The Crypt” and the host of the show The Crypt Keeper? The one thing about the show that stood out was his voice. The voice of The Crypt Keeper was supplied by John Kissar. John was a guest at last years Days Of The Dead Convention. He was nice enough to take a few minutes out of his Sunday morning to sit down and talk with me. We talked about his carreer from Star Search all the way up to his part in the new film “Jack The Giant Slayer”. I really enjoyed doing this interview and I hope you will enjoy it as well!
Days Of The Dead Atlanta 2012 Review Posted
My son, Julian and I had the pleasure of attending the second Days Of The Dead Convention in Atlanta Ga last weekend. Julian was really excited about meeting Kane Hodder and it was good to see him excited about going to a con that wasn’t anime related. Now, the first Days Of The Dead was in the Peachtree City area of Atlanta. This years hotel was in the heart of downtown Atlanta. It is one of the hosts hotels for Dragon Con so I was glad it was right off the interstate and we had been in the area before as well.
Days Of The Dead – Atlanta Georgia – Feb 1-3, 2013
Well, it’s convention time again and the first big show of the year is Days Of The Dead in Atlanta, Georgia. This is the second year in a row that Adolfao Dorta and his staff have put on the show in Atlanta. We had a great time last year and this year promises to be even better. Marilyn Burns was an actress living in Texas when she landed the role of Sally in the first Texas Chainsaw Massacre. After making that film she went on to appear in Helter Skelter, Eaten Alive and Future-Kill. In 2012, one of the Days Of The Dead Conventions featured a Texas Chainsaw Massacre Reunion. Marilyn was one of the guest at that show and she was nice enough to sit down with me so I could ask her a few questions about her career and her memories of make the cult classic The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. She has appeared in several films including ”The Black Dahlia Haunting”, “Scary Story Slumber Party” and the up coming “Scream Queen Campfire”. She has also been in the tv shows “Dexter”, “CSI: New York” and “Castle”. She has also filmed several movies to be released in the coming year.
